Herdade do Pinheiro is a privately owned estate in Alcácer do Sal, Portugal, set within the Sado Estuary National Reserve. Covering more than 5,000 hectares, it brings together a long agricultural history, a resident community and a strong commitment to the natural environment and sustainability. Its stud, established in 1906, has bred several types of horses, including Lusitanos, Selle Français, English thoroughbreds and Luso-Arabs.
