Her Hoop Stats is a brand that aims to provide consistent, reliable, and easily accessible data about women's basketball for both mobile and desktop environments. Founded by Aaron Barzilai, former Director of Basketball Analytics for the Philadelphia 76ers, the idea for the site came about when Aaron's friend joined the staff at Tennessee and asked for recommendations on statistical options for the team. Realizing that there were none available, Aaron decided to create one himself.

With the help of volunteers, the site launched in the Fall of 2017 and has since grown with the input from the Women's Basketball community. The goal of Her Hoop Stats is to help grow the women's game by providing effective tools to better understand it. They continuously work to add new features and improve existing tools.
