Originally founded as separate county cooperatives, Heritage FS has grown through consolidation and now operates in nine counties.

Heritage FS offers a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of farmers, homeowners, and fleet owners. They provide agriculture seed, including popular brands like FS InVISION, FS HiSOY, FS InSPIRE Wheat, FS FORAGE, DEKALB, Asgrow, Brevant, and Credenz. Their product catalog also includes crop protection solutions, crop nutrients, fuels, lubricants, and other petroleum products.

In addition, Heritage FS has a dedicated agronomy team that conducts research trials and provides valuable data to help farmers make informed decisions about their crops. They also offer crop marketing services through their affiliation with FS GRAIN, LLC, which has grain facilities throughout Northern Illinois. With a strong commitment to Illinois agriculture, Heritage FS strives to meet the diverse needs of their over 6,000 customers.
