Heritage House Care

Heritage House is a dedicated day care center located in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, founded in 1985 to support the elderly community, particularly those facing isolation in rural areas. The center emerged from the efforts of visionary local individuals who recognized a pressing need for activities and companionship for older adults. With the purchase of a former Nurses' Home, Heritage House has successfully expanded its services, now operating five days a week to provide vital support and engagement for its visitors.

At Heritage House, a committed team, including General Manager Steve Cheshire and Volunteer Coordinator Addie Granville, works alongside numerous volunteers who play an essential role in operations. The center offers a range of activities designed to enhance the well-being of its visitors while fostering a sense of community. Heritage House remains a crucial resource for the elderly by ensuring that they receive not only care but also companionship, reinforcing its status as a pillar of support in the local area.
