Heritage House of Portage

Heritage House of Portage is an assisted living community in Portage, Wisconsin, and part of the Encore Senior Living family of communities. It supports older adults and their loved ones in Portage and nearby areas, including communities across Columbia County. The recently remodeled residence offers a smaller, personal setting where residents can maintain familiar routines and independence while receiving help as needed. Apartments are larger than most and include a separate bedroom, with options such as an attached bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette, living room, and private patio.

Residents receive 24-hour team support, three home-cooked meals daily with menus approved by a certified dietitian, and weekly housekeeping and laundry. Scheduled transportation is available for appointments and outings, with additional care services that can include coordination with healthcare providers and on-site therapy services. A dedicated team plans activities seven days a week, including group programs, outings, and bus trips. Heritage House also hosts community events and educational sessions.
