Heritage Vision of Hope is an initiative focused on improving access to eye care and addressing undiagnosed eye diseases that can affect quality of life. Its work serves children, seniors, underprivileged people, and the wider community, with the goal of making comprehensive eye examinations and glasses available at little or no cost to recipients. The organization emphasizes that everyone should have the opportunity to see well, regardless of age, transportation challenges, or socioeconomic background.

Through outreach and education, Heritage Vision of Hope promotes eye and vision health as an important part of reducing health disparities and preventable suffering. The organization highlights barriers to vision care that can affect poorer adolescents and Black and Hispanic communities. Its programs are organized around students, seniors, and underprivileged groups, and its mobile eyecare unit is a key focus for community service. Donations help provide the resources needed to deploy that unit, while volunteers can contribute their time and energy.
