HermetiaTech is a company designed to offer services of consulting, training, research & development, by utilizing Black Soldier Fly (BSF) to treat organic waste. Our company has broad experience in assisting assigned staff in implementing BSF technology as well as providing training to local and foreign clients since 2017, using the system that has been developing by project FORWARD (From Organic Waste to Recycling for Development) by Eawag. The main goal of HermetiaTech is being able to implement the BSF technology developed by project FORWARD, both in small and industrial scale. We offer innovative and creative techniques to maintain the colony as well as organic waste treatment unit.

About HermetiaTech
HermetiaTech is a specialized brand that offers training and consulting services for rearing Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae and organic waste conversion operations. The brand was formed by a team from Project FORWARD, an R&D project implemented by Eawag and funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. With years of experience in implementing BSF technology and improving existing systems, HermetiaTech collaborates with the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag) to provide training and consulting to local and foreign clients since 2017.
BSF technology is an excellent option for organic waste conversion due to its numerous benefits. It is not a pest, does not transmit diseases, and can reduce pathogen populations in waste sources. Additionally, BSF is resilient and can be reared and converted in low-tech equipment.

This sustainable and cost-effective waste reduction process can reduce waste up to 80% and does not require high-end technology.
