Herning Challenge

Herning Challenge is a Danish obstacle-course event designed to make active recreation accessible and enjoyable for people of different ages, genders, and fitness levels. Held annually at Fuglsang Lake in Herning, the event invites participants to challenge themselves alongside friends, family, or other runners. Its approximately five-kilometre course features more than 20 man-made and natural obstacles, and participants are encouraged to try each one without feeling obliged to complete them all.

A water section is included, but swimming is optional, with a route around it available. The event welcomes participants from age seven; children and teenagers have specific adult-supervision and parental-consent requirements. Herning Challenge offers tickets for the race and provides information about the route, obstacles, event images, and results.

Luggage storage can be purchased, while parking is available near the start and finish area, subject to capacity. The organizers say they aim to make the event bigger and more entertaining each year
