Herning Ultralet Flyveklub

Herning Ultralet Flyveklub is a Danish ultralight aviation club based at Skinderholmvej 7B in Herning. It introduces people to recreational flying and provides a route for those interested in becoming pilots. The club offers passenger flights of 30 or 60 minutes, with guests able to help plan the route and enjoy the views from the air. A 60-minute experience with an instructor lets participants take a turn at the controls, receive an introduction to flying, and tour the club. Gift vouchers are available for these experiences.

For aspiring pilots, the club provides flight training and theory courses, alongside information about membership and club aircraft. Members can book club planes, and the website provides practical resources such as prices, a calendar, weather and briefing information, and useful links. The club presents ultralight aviation as an accessible form of flying, noting that aircraft can use ordinary unleaded petrol and that rental is available from 525 Danish kroner per hour, including fuel. It also shares information about aircraft performance, ownership, and maintenance.
