Heron Solutions

Heron Deterrent is a pond-protection brand focused on helping pond owners safeguard their fish from herons without using traditional net coverings. Its main product is a discreet, floating guard designed to sit on the water’s surface and deter herons while blending into the pond environment. The system is made from robust, black injection-moulded plastic and consists of interlocking sections that connect with simple clips. Each section can move independently and includes an anchor point, allowing the platform to be secured to suit an individual pond and limit movement across the water.

The modular design is intended to fit ponds of different shapes: sections can be turned to follow a pond’s perimeter or adapted for linear layouts. Plants or aggregates can help camouflage the anchor points. The guard is described as easy to install and maintain, and can be taken apart for cleaning or to provide access for viewing the pond. Heron Deterrent offers online ordering and provides customer contact details for enquiries. The brand is based in Fernhill Heath, Worcester.
