Herrig Bestattungen Inh. D. Zielke

Herrig Bestattungen is a family-run funeral home in Lauterbach, Hesse, supporting individuals and families through bereavement with experience, compassion, and respect. Daniel Zielke took over the traditional business in 2018 and continues its focus on honest advice, personal attention, and giving families room to shape a farewell that reflects the life of the person who has died.

The funeral home arranges earth burials, cremations, anonymous funerals, and woodland burials, including options in Friedwald and Ruheforst locations. Its team helps plan funeral and memorial services, prepare the place of burial, and manage the practical arrangements and paperwork involved after a death. Families can receive guidance in person or use digital resources, including a free checklist for discussing and recording funeral wishes. Herrig also offers funeral pre-planning, helping people document their preferences so they can be considered later. Support continues beyond the burial, with assistance available for follow-up questions. Based at Rockelsgasse 31 in Lauterbach, Herrig Bestattungen is available around the clock by phone.
