Her Sports Fest

Her Sports Fest is an Ontario, Canada-based festival created to celebrate, promote, and support girls and women in sport. Its welcoming, community-focused event gives participants of different ages the chance to discover activities, connect with athletes, and celebrate women’s participation in sport. The festival’s multi-sport demonstration area invites visitors to try a variety of sports, while its marketplace offers opportunities to meet, explore, and shop local. Stage activities, including “Chalk Talks,” provide a space for conversations that go beyond the game, and the event encourages guests to connect, play, and share their stories.

Her Sports Fest features athlete ambassadors from a range of sports, including speed skating, flag football, soccer, weightlifting, para athletics, taekwondo, and sprinting. Their involvement reflects the festival’s emphasis on visibility, encouragement, and inspiration. Through hands-on experiences and shared stories, the event helps families and young participants explore sports they may not otherwise have tried. Her Sports Fest also shares updates through its newsletter and promotes its mission of growing the space for girls and women to play, participate, and thrive.
