HerzRaum is a specialist educational practice in Emsdetten, Germany, offering support for young children and their families. Led by Britta Helmers, a qualified special needs educator, movement educator, Basic Bonding leader, children’s yoga teacher and mother of two, the practice draws on her 20 years of experience in child and youth welfare, social paediatrics and disability support. Its approach is grounded in respect, openness and acceptance of each child and parent as they are.

Services include early special education support for children from birth to age six, individual educational support, and psychomotor group sessions for children aged three to six. HerzRaum also provides parent-and-baby support through “Zeit für uns,” individual support for foster children, and special educational assessments. “Zeit für mich” offers an additional one-to-one service for mothers and fathers. Through these offerings, the practice accompanies children and parents in ways suited to their needs, with an emphasis on supportive relationships and family wellbeing.
