Hest i Balance

Hest i Balance is the equine osteopathy practice of Helle Kornbek, a trained horse osteopath based in Viborg, Midtjylland. She provides mobile treatments across Denmark, regularly travelling to Funen and Zealand, and owners can also bring their horses to her farm in Viborg. Her services are tailored to each horse’s needs and movement, with the aim of supporting suppleness and helping horse and rider perform together.

The gentle, whole-horse approach combines elements of physiotherapy and chiropractic care. Treatment may address muscles, joints, bones, connective tissue and organs, using the horse’s natural reflexes. Helle draws on studies in veterinary medicine and her osteopathy training, completed in 2011, as well as more than 13 years of experience treating horses. She has developed an individual approach to assessing and treating each animal and continues to pursue further professional education. Horse owners who are unsure whether osteopathy may be suitable can contact her to discuss their horse’s needs and arrange an assessment or treatment.
