About Het Zandkasteeltje
Het Zandkasteeltje is a childcare provider serving families in Amsterdam-West and Zaandam. Its services include day care and toddler care for children aged 0 to 4, as well as after-school and out-of-school care. The organisation aims to make each day enjoyable for children, offering care in small, age-based groups and a safe, welcoming, home-like environment.
Its experienced team draws on pedagogical knowledge and focuses on children’s wellbeing and development, with attention to language, culture and diversity. The childcare approach also incorporates the Uk & Puk method, and the organisation highlights quality in care, nutrition and upbringing. Families can explore locations in Amsterdam and Zaandam, request a tour, review fees and policies, or register a child.
The centres are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a. m. to 6:30 p.
m. and closed on weekends. Het Zandkasteeltje also shares childcare information and activity updates through its blog, alongside parent experiences and practical details for families considering its services
