Hevossairaala

Ypäjän Hevossairaala Oy is an equine veterinary clinic established in early 2005, following the privatization of the horse clinic associated with MTT’s equine research. Located at Siittolanmäki in Ypäjä, next to the Ypäjä Equine College, the clinic is led by Anne Sjöholm, a specialist veterinarian in equine diseases. Its team includes one to three veterinarians and two assistants.

The hospital provides veterinary services for horses, supported by purpose-equipped treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor exercise lanes, an operating theatre, and patient stalls. Diagnostic and treatment equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy systems, a shockwave device, and comprehensive dental-care instruments. These facilities support the examination and treatment of equine patients in a dedicated hospital setting.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and accepts appointments and inquiries by phone. It also participates in the South Häme regional veterinary on-call service for evenings and weekends. LähiTapiola customers can use direct insurance reimbursement at the clinic, which accepts bank cards, cash, and major credit cards.
