Hey-Mum

Hey-Mum is a maternal care and birth-support service based in Hamburg-Bergedorf, founded by Kirsten and Nele. It accompanies women through pregnancy, birth and the early weeks of motherhood, offering practical and emotional support tailored to each family’s needs. The team provides doula care before, during and after birth, helping expectant mothers manage labor, feel supported and communicate their wishes. Doula support is non-medical and does not replace the role of a midwife or doctor.

After birth, Hey-Mum’s maternal care services can include conversations, infant-care guidance, massages, postnatal exercises, support with older siblings, breastfeeding-friendly meal preparation and help around the home. The aim is to help mothers rest, feel settled and adjust to their new circumstances while giving their babies time to arrive and settle in. Services also include bundled care packages, baby massage, telephone and online consultations, and gift vouchers. Hey-Mum presents its support as personal and responsive, helping mothers enjoy this significant transition and find their footing in their new role.
