Hey Auntie is a digital wellness platform and community that connects Black women of different ages and life stages. Their aim is to help Black women learn the rules, gain the tools, and build the networks necessary to thrive in all areas of life, from home to work and everywhere in between. Hey Auntie recognizes that Black women face unique stressors that can lead to higher rates of depression and anxiety, along with other health disparities.

They believe in providing safe, culturally competent, and efficient resources to address these challenges. Their services include curated 1:1 and group connections, videos, tutorials, resources, and both live and virtual experiences. Through the use of the latest research, data, cultural sensitivity, and technology, Hey Auntie aims to empower Black women to successfully navigate their day-to-day lives personally and professionally.

Their core values include safety, integrity, high quality, community, cultural sensitivity, creativity, compassion, and love. Hey Auntie was founded by Nicole E. Kenney, who has a diverse professional background and a passion for advancing racial, gender, health, and economic equity.

The idea for the platform stemmed from Nicole's own experiences with stress and anxiety, and she was inspired by her aunties who helped her navigate those challenges. The name Hey Auntie is a tribute to the historical and cultural legacy of the Black Auntie, who has served as a protector of mental health for generations. Hey Auntie aims to build on that legacy and provide support for Black women in the 21st century and beyond
