Hey Captain is a Copenhagen-based boat tour company offering a relaxed, personal way to explore the city’s canals and harbor. Founded by friends Casper and Joel, the brand grew from taking friends out on their boat and keeps that sociable, welcoming spirit at the heart of each trip. Rather than relying on a fixed script or overwhelming guests with facts, captains encourage conversation while sharing the city and their favorite places.

Guests can choose public tours, where groups share a boat of up to 12 passengers, or private tours for up to 12, with routes tailored to their preferences. Three options range from a one-hour tour of historic inner-harbor landmarks to a two-hour search for lesser-known spots and a three-hour journey through both old canals and newer waterfront areas. Hey Captain also offers gift cards and private outings suited to team events or company gatherings. Its small boats are designed for an intimate atmosphere, and seasonal autumn tours feature covered boats, blankets, lanterns, and hot drinks.
