Cubit is a file-sharing brand built to make sending files between people and devices simple, fast, and private. Its service lets users drop or select files, create a shareable link, and choose an expiry period of one day, three days, or one week. The stated file limit is up to 5 GB, with a higher allowance for signed-in users. Recipients can open the link to view transfer details and download the files.

Privacy is central to Cubit’s approach: files are encrypted in the browser, and the decryption key travels in the link rather than being stored on Cubit’s servers. The service also supports pairing a user’s devices and sharing between them, with direct transfers available when devices are nearby. Cubit describes upcoming apps for Mac, Windows, and iPhone, including desktop features such as drag-and-drop sharing and a “Send with Cubit” menu option. Users can manage their account, devices, links, and profile details. Cubit also states that it has no ads or tracking.
