Hi5 Kindercoaching

Hi5 kindercoaching is a child coaching practice in Rosmalen, led by Astrid van de Griendt, a certified child coach specializing in grief and loss. Drawing on her background in primary education and experience as a mother, Astrid supports children and young people who are struggling with personal challenges. These may include bereavement and loss, managing emotions, or building self-confidence.

The practice uses a solution-focused approach, based on the belief that children can find ways to improve their own situation. Through conversations, attentive listening, and coaching activities, Astrid works alongside each child to explore what is getting in the way and help them discover possible solutions. Hi5 also offers support to parents who feel stuck or unsure how best to help their child, providing an outside perspective and working together with the family. Its specialized services include grief and loss coaching and De Helpende Hand. Hi5’s aim is to help children feel more comfortable and confident, while offering parents a supportive, empathetic point of contact.
