Hicret

Hicret GmbH is a Berlin-based provider of Islamic funeral and repatriation services, supporting Muslim families in Berlin and the surrounding area since 1997. Based on Hermannstrasse in Neukölln, the company offers assistance around the clock and communicates in German and Turkish. Its services are designed to respect Islamic funeral traditions while guiding families through practical arrangements during bereavement.

Hicret prepares the deceased through ritual washing and shrouding, arranges burial without cremation in Muslim cemeteries and burial sections, and handles transfers within Germany and abroad. The company coordinates repatriation to Turkey and other countries, including transport to the airport and, in Turkey, onward travel to the burial location. It also manages related paperwork and coordination with registry offices, health authorities, consulates, and airlines. Preparation follows Islamic requirements, while coffin arrangements meet European standards.

Additional services include help arranging headstones, grave borders, and floral tributes through specialist providers, as well as funeral and repatriation pre-planning insurance.
