With a rich history dating back to the early 1900s, our premises have evolved from a traditional off-licence to become one of the city's top destinations for wine enthusiasts. Under the stewardship of owner James Nicholson, who brings over 40 years of experience in the trade, we offer an exceptional range of close to 1400 wines from around the world.

As an independent retailer, we have the freedom to curate a diverse selection of wines, focusing on smaller producers that you won't find in larger retailers or supermarkets. These wines are often organic, family-run, and reflect our commitment to offering fantastic quality and great value for money. Our team, all of whom have completed WSET Advanced Certificate courses, are passionate about wine and eager to offer advice on food pairing and unique grape varietals.

In addition to our extensive wine collection, we also stock over 400 microbrews, specialist beers, ciders, and more than 500 spirits, including independent single malts and interesting liqueurs. Sustainability is at the forefront of our business, and we prioritize working with producers who share our environmental values.
