High Country Dogs

High Country Dogs, founded by Louisa Morrissey, is a premier dog training service dedicated to fostering positive relationships between dogs and their owners. Originally known as Skijor-n-More, the brand has evolved under Louisa's leadership to emphasize the importance of humane, force-free training methods. As a proud member of the Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Training (VSPDT) team, Louisa brings a wealth of expertise in positive reinforcement techniques, which are aimed at cultivating mutual respect and trust between humans and their canine companions.

At High Country Dogs, clients can expect safe and effective training that aligns with contemporary, evidence-based practices. Beyond personal training sessions, Louisa is actively involved in community service through her work with the Pet Professional Guild and Western Border Collie Rescue. Through personalized lessons and support, High Country Dogs is committed to helping dog owners enhance their bond with their pets while also promoting responsible pet ownership and training practices.
