HIGH DRIVE DOGS

Canine Higher Learning’s High Drive Dogs is a sports-dog matchmaking service for people seeking a dog suited to competitive activities. The site explains that high-drive dogs can be rewarding training partners, but often need substantial exercise, attention, and time to settle comfortably at home. It encourages prospective sports-dog owners to consider adopting dogs featured in its listings.

Dogs are organized into light-, middle-, and heavy-weight divisions, with an All-Stars section highlighting high-drive dogs. The site also invites visitors to post a dog on its list, helping connect dogs with potential homes. For owners who cannot participate in dog sports, it offers ideas for keeping energetic dogs mentally engaged. Additional resources include information about dog-sport organizations, recommended reading, and regional and national events. Overall, High Drive Dogs brings together dog listings, practical guidance, and sport-related information to support people interested in working with energetic dogs, while emphasizing the commitment these dogs require.
