Dr. Carolyn Coarsey is the founder of a brand called Higher Resources, Inc. (HRI), which is an educational organization dedicated to assisting survivors of trauma.

HRI offers programs and classes designed to help individuals and families cope with traumatic losses resulting from events such as accidents, industrial disasters, and sudden death. Dr. Carolyn Coarsey herself has a deep personal connection to this work, as she experienced the loss of loved ones in several fatal airline crashes.

Her firsthand experience led her to create the Human Services Response™ (HSR) model, which aims to bridge the gap between airlines and survivors in times of crisis. HSR provides training to employees and helps them develop the skills necessary to offer practical support and emotional assistance to those affected by tragedies. This program has been adopted by various industries worldwide to empower employees and facilitate a compassionate response to workplace crises.

In addition to corporate training, Dr. Carolyn Coarsey also works individually with survivors as a clinical hypnotherapist to help them integrate their losses and trauma. She has also developed her own Depression Awareness/Suicide Prevention™ (DASP) training program, which utilizes her extensive video library and real-life case studies to educate and raise awareness about depression and suicide prevention.
