HIGH HEAT

HIGH HEAT is a softball training center in Oxford, North Carolina, offering private and group instruction for players of all ages and abilities. Led by Morgan Dennis, the center takes a personalized approach, tailoring lessons to each player’s skills, goals, and ability to adapt rather than relying on a standard program. Instruction covers pitching, catching, hitting, bunting, slapping, fielding, throwing, and baserunning.

Private lessons provide individualized coaching and a customized practice plan, while group lessons help players develop their skills alongside teammates and encourage healthy competition among players of similar ability. Lessons are by appointment at an indoor training facility operated at Perfect Game. The 9,000-square-foot space includes two retractable batting tunnels, a softball pitching rubber, and an open workout area.

Morgan’s playing and pitching experience, along with her study of shoulder rehabilitation and pitching mechanics, informs the center’s coaching approach. HIGH HEAT also offers a no-cost trial lesson for prospective players to try training before committing. Its stated focus is skill development, confidence, and players’ physical well-being
