High Hopes RDA

High Hopes Riding for the Disabled Group is a registered charity based at The Stables on Aston Lane in Aughton. It provides children and adults with physical and learning disabilities the opportunity to enjoy horse riding in a safe, supportive setting. Through tailored riding sessions for people of different abilities, the group aims to build riders’ confidence, support physical wellbeing, and create joyful experiences for riders and their families. Sessions are led by an experienced team and involve gentle, well-trained horses.

Beyond riding, High Hopes brings people together through community activities, open days, and fundraising events that celebrate riders’ achievements. Volunteers play an essential role, helping lead horses, support riders, and keep the stables running. The charity welcomes kind and reliable volunteers; no previous experience is required. High Hopes relies on donations, sponsorship, and fundraising to maintain its stables and continue offering sessions. Individuals and organisations can contribute by donating, becoming a sponsor, volunteering, or taking part in community events.
