Hillcrest Memorials

Hillcrest Memorials is a three-generation, family-owned memorial business based in Schanzenfeld, Manitoba, serving Winkler and surrounding communities for more than 50 years. Founded in the early 1970s by Cornelius Peters, the company has continued through his son Peter and grandson Tim, who became a full partner in 2024 and now manages the operation. The family combines traditional craftsmanship with updated techniques and technology to create personal, lasting tributes.

Hillcrest Memorials offers custom granite memorials in a range of styles, with design work that can include diamond impact etching of scenery and portraits. The business also provides an online way to tell and share a loved one’s story, featuring biographies, pictures, videos, family trees, and guest books, along with privacy controls and a one-time fee. Its support continues after installation: Peter and Tim can help refurbish and level memorials that need care, even years later. The company emphasizes understanding, quality, and attentive service as families remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones.
