About Hiller Museum
Welcome to Hiller Aviation Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate museum located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Established in 1998 by renowned helicopter designer and inventor Stanley Hiller Jr., our museum showcases the rich history of aviation with over 50 aircraft spanning more than a century. With over 1.
7 million visitors and 10,000 students from K-12 schools annually, Hiller Aviation Museum serves as a valuable resource for lifelong learning and cultural enrichment. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we strive to ignite curiosity and inspire innovation in diverse communities. Our core programs for youth align with state and national academic standards, supporting K-12 curricula in history, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
