About The Hillside Group
The Hillside Group is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving human communication about computers by encouraging people to codify common programming and design practices. They offer a wide range of products and services aimed at uplifting the software community through pattern writing. One of their key initiatives is the Pattern Languages of Programming (PLoP) conference series, which follows a highly collaborative style based on shepherding and peer-based feedback workshops.
