Hillside Montessori School is a Montessori Canada-accredited school in Etobicoke, Ontario, established in 1999. Guided by Dr. Maria Montessori’s educational philosophy, the school provides a nurturing, child-centered environment where curiosity, independence, confidence, and a love of learning can grow. Its Casa program welcomes children aged 2.5 to 6 into mixed-age classrooms, encouraging younger students to learn from older peers and older children to develop leadership by helping others.

Classrooms are designed to support exploration through five learning areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Cultural Studies. Hands-on activities help children build coordination, concentration, and foundational academic and social skills at their own pace. Hillside’s services include Montessori education delivered by trained educators, enrichment programs, fresh snacks and lunches, and regular family communication through the Transparent Classroom platform. The school also supports parent involvement with updates, reports, and classroom observations. With an emphasis on each child’s academic, social, and emotional development, Hillside aims to prepare young learners for continued education and lifelong discovery.
