HiloAthleticAlliance

Hilo Athletic Alliance is a Hawaii-based nonprofit established in 2022 to help young people pursue their academic and athletic goals. Working in partnership with University of Hawaii at Hilo athletes, the organization aims to educate and inspire the next generation of student-athletes. Its work centers on supporting youth development through sports, including basketball programs that encourage growth and excellence among college athletes.

Designated as a 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS, Hilo Athletic Alliance welcomes donations of all sizes to support its efforts. The organization states that 100% of donated funds reach Hawaii’s youth, and that it is run entirely by volunteers. Supporters can also engage with the alliance through its events and shop, which features items such as Big Island Invitational polos. The organization has hosted the Swing and Swish Golf Tournament, thanking sponsors and participants for their support, and shares event information, photographs, and updates through its website. Hilo Athletic Alliance connects community support with opportunities for young people to grow in both academics and athletics.
