The Himalayan Database, managed by The Expedition Archives of Elizabeth Hawley, is a comprehensive compilation of records for all expeditions in the Nepal Himalaya. Founded on the archives of esteemed journalist Elizabeth Hawley and supplemented by additional sources, this database covers expeditions from 1905 to the present Autumn-Winter 2023 season. It includes data on major peaks like Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kangchenjunga, as well as trekking peaks.

Each expedition record provides detailed information on routes, camps, oxygen use, successes, fatalities, accidents, and more. With over 11,300 expedition records, 87,100 member records, and 15,700 literature records, this database is a valuable resource for climbers, journalists, historians, and researchers.
