Himish is a community marketplace designed to help people buy, sell, hire, and discover local businesses and opportunities in their neighborhoods. Its stated focus is serving communities rather than advertisers, with a platform for finding and sharing useful local information. Visitors can browse marketplace posts covering items for sale, vehicles, lease deals, rentals, real estate, jobs, and local businesses. The site also features community events, announcements, fundraisers, and simchos, bringing practical listings and neighborhood activities together in one place.

Users can search across the marketplace, post something, and access messages or sign in. Himish also invites businesses to advertise and offers partnership opportunities, alongside resources such as community guidelines and refund and cancellation information. The platform identifies Brooklyn, Lakewood, Monsey, and the Five Towns among the communities it serves. By organizing listings, services, and community updates around local areas, Himish aims to make it easier for residents to connect with nearby people, businesses, and opportunities.
