Centro Hípico El Cerrillo is an equestrian centre and riding school in Galapagar, in the Sierra de Guadarrama area of the Community of Madrid, near Collado Villalba, El Escorial, Valdemorillo and Guadarrama. Open since 1993, it offers a rural setting and access to countryside riding routes, while remaining about 40 kilometres from Madrid city. Riders can learn to ride or develop their skills with qualified instructors, including in classical dressage and show jumping.
The centre also offers young PRE horses for learning, horse training and colt starting, as well as livery with daily cleaning, three meals and individual care. Additional services include exercising horses, pasture-based arrangements, guide paperwork, rug changes, farrier and veterinary support, and round-the-clock stable supervision and video monitoring. Experienced riders can join countryside rides, and children can take part in equestrian camps.
Facilities include a covered, illuminated 60-by-20-metre arena. The centre is led by Gustavo Martín, whose experience includes breeding, training and caring for PRE horses and Lusitanos
