Hira Select! Motorcycle News Summary Blog is a personal motorcycle-focused publication run by Hira, a Tokyo-based rider with 21 years of experience. Drawing on time spent with a broad range of motorcycles—including sport, naked, touring, and off-road models—the blog shares practical perspectives for riders and people considering a purchase. Its articles cover motorcycle news, first-hand impressions, product reviews, model comparisons, ownership costs, availability, and accessories.
Recent topics include Suzuki’s DR-Z4SM, Kawasaki’s KLX models, and long-term ownership of the Husqvarna 701 SuperMoto. The site also offers useful guidance on subjects such as protecting a motorcycle during typhoon season and evaluating a motorcycle resale service. Alongside motorcycle coverage, Hira publishes occasional lifestyle and personal essays, reflecting an interest in travel and touring as well as bikes themselves.
The blog is intended to help readers understand current models, make informed choices, and enjoy motorcycle ownership through candid commentary and research-based articles
