Tofu

Tofu is a recruiting security platform designed to help hiring and security teams protect their hiring pipelines. It integrates with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to assess applicants, flag suspicious profiles, and keep verification information within existing workflows. Its fraud detection tools identify signals associated with identity theft, impersonation, synthetic identities, location spoofing, and other forms of candidate fraud, drawing on more than four billion data points and a proprietary database built from over 18 million analyzed profiles.

Tofu also offers real-time deepfake detection for interviews, screening for synthetic audio, face swaps, AI-generated overlays, and proxy candidates. The service works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and AI note-taking tools. For candidate evaluation, customizable AI Screening Agents rank applicants against job criteria using experience, skills, and attributes, with the stated aim of reducing bias. Additional offerings include enterprise Fraud and Deepfake APIs for platforms, recruiter verification, a Chrome extension, and integrations with ATS products.
