Hisingens sportfiskeklubb

Hisingens Sportfiskeklubb (HSK) is a fishing club based on Hisingen, Sweden, founded in 1951. Originally established as a men-only club, it now welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced anglers, and fosters friendship and shared learning across generations. Members usually meet on Thursdays at the clubhouse on Äringsgatan 1A, where activities include fly-tying, rod-making, net-making and knife-making, as well as fishing films and informal conversations about catches and records.

The club also arranges fishing competitions, gatherings and family days, offering visitors opportunities to try fishing and enjoy refreshments and company. HSK leases a cabin on Halleskär, an island between Hönö and Vinga, where it sometimes holds events; members can also rent the cabin and boat. The club provides a boat and mooring on Hönö, access to lakes in Svartedalen and two streams, and supports the pond in Amhult, Torslanda.

Seasonal activity includes summer visits, trout season and the opening of lobster fishing. Monthly meetings are held when needed
