Histoire et Archives Laurentides

Histoire et Archives Laurentides is a regional history and archives organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the memory of the Laurentides area of Quebec. Through historical images, archival collections, exhibitions and community stories, it helps visitors explore the people, places and events that have shaped the region. Its website features virtual exhibitions, historical photographs and postcards, life stories, heritage routes, profiles of notable people and information about heritage buildings. Topics include Antoine Labelle and the Rolland paper company.

The organization also provides services for individuals, researchers and institutions. These include access to a consultation room, historical archives management, records management, digitization, research and writing, guided activities and tours, and exhibitions. Visitors can consult its documentation centre and researcher’s guide, learn about archival collections, or find out how to donate records. Histoire et Archives Laurentides invites the public to participate by becoming a member, volunteer or patron, making a donation, or contributing archival materials. Based in Saint-Jérôme, it serves as a resource for discovering, protecting and enriching the region’s historical record.
