Historia Koluszek

Historia Koluszek is a local history initiative dedicated to documenting and sharing the stories, people, places, and heritage of Koluszki and its surrounding area in Poland. Its website serves as an online museum and educational resource, bringing together historical articles, photographs, documents, postcards, and films. The material is organized across key periods, from before 1914 through the First and Second World Wars, the interwar years, and the Polish People’s Republic.

Alongside its digital collections and reading materials, the organization publishes news and organizes cultural and educational activities. Recent projects have explored artist Katarzyna Kobro’s connection to Koluszki and the history of the Home Army in the region, including a themed outdoor activity. The site also promotes walks and workshops, helping visitors engage with local history beyond the screen. Run by the Historia Koluszek Association, the initiative invites the community to learn about the past and support its work.
