Historian is a groundbreaking brand that has filled a major gap in the e-commerce MarTech stack. It all started when Peter, the CTO of a company heavily reliant on webshop revenue, was asked a simple question by the CMO: what happened on the 26th of April? This question led to the realization that their source code versioning system was insufficient in providing a satisfactory answer. As a result, a significant chunk of their revenue was missing, leading to various unfavorable consequences.

Determined to find a solution, Peter teamed up with Filip, who had previously worked at a successful MarTech startup. Together, they founded Historian to address the missing historical data in the market. While companies had access to statisticians, they were lacking in historians.
