About Historical Dialogue
The Historical Justice and Memory Network is a dedicated platform that fosters dialogue around historical issues, focusing on historical and transitional justice as well as public and social memory. Hosted by the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University in New York City, this network serves as a resource for researchers and activists engaged in significant historical conversations. The platform promotes interdisciplinary and comparative research, offering various tools and opportunities to connect like-minded individuals and organizations.
It provides access to online seminars and hosts events, allowing contributors to share their latest research with a global audience. The network also supports historical dialogue initiatives and maintains an extensive database of related online resources, including organizations, museums, and historical sites dedicated to advocacy and education. Through its commitment to raising awareness about historical injustices, the Historical Justice and Memory Network plays a crucial role in shaping public discourse and understanding around critical historical narratives
