Historisk Samfund for Skive og Omegn is a prominent cultural association established in 1908, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of the Skive region in Denmark. Over the years, the society has been instrumental in publishing the annual "Skivebogen," a valuable resource for local historical research that encompasses a wide array of topics, including geographical insights, significant personalities, and cultural heritage spanning from medieval times to the modern era.

The society offers a variety of resources, including newsletters detailing their activities, educational events, and access to archive materials. Members can enjoy benefits such as a subscription to "Skivebogen," which provides deep dives into local history, and discounted access to related museums like Skive Museum and Spøttrup Borgmuseum. Through public lectures and initiatives, the society fosters community engagement and awareness regarding historical studies, ensuring that the region's past is celebrated and preserved for future generations.
