About Hiv-Sverige
Hiv-Sverige is a national umbrella organisation working for people living with HIV in Sweden. Its vision is a better life with HIV and a society where everyone can participate on equal terms. The organisation describes itself as working for and by people living with HIV, while welcoming members regardless of HIV status, including individuals, organisations and member associations.
Hiv-Sverige raises awareness and shares information through resources on HIV transmission, testing, treatment, rights, terminology and living with HIV. It also provides HIV education and publishes news, reports, campaigns and opinion material, including advocacy proposals on issues affecting people with HIV. Its Peer2Peer platform helps people living with HIV connect with others, with profiles and videos that can help users find peers by shared interests or language. The organisation also lists events and training opportunities, and invites members to take part in activities and other forms of engagement at a level that suits them.
