About The African-led HIV Control Working Group
HCWG, the Africa HIV Control Working Group, is an African-led organization focused on addressing long-term HIV control in Africa. Our mission is to discover sustainable solutions to eliminate HIV as a public health concern on the continent, working towards an AIDS-free Africa. Our dedicated members, including Magda Robalo and Izukanji Sikazwe, collaborate in four thematic groups: Health and Community Systems Strengthening, HIV Control, HIV Sustainability, Governance, and Leadership, and HIV Prevention.
