HI Volleyball is a community volleyball club based in Skanderborg, Denmark, welcoming players aged 15 and over who have basic playing experience. The club combines focused volleyball practice with an enjoyable, sociable team environment. Training includes skill-building exercises and match play, giving participants opportunities to practise core techniques and play volleyball together.
Indoor sessions take place on Tuesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. at Niels Ebbesen Hall, which has courts and changing facilities. Players can join one of two mixed recreational groups: one for very experienced players and another for less or moderately experienced players. Participants should be able to perform the basic forearm pass, set and serve, and send the ball safely over the net. The club does not offer dedicated beginner training. During the season, HI Volleyball may also take part in tournaments and arrange joint training evenings with nearby clubs, depending on interest.
From April to September, members and non-members are welcome to play beach volleyball at the court by the gymnasium.
