Welcome to the "Nationellt kompetenscentrum förvärvad hjärnskada" project! We are building a website to provide accessible information about acquired brain injuries. Our goal is to launch the website in spring 2024. The purpose of the competence center is to offer critical information to individuals with acquired brain injuries and their loved ones.
The current information available can be hard to find and understand, so we aim to collect and make it more accessible. Additionally, the center targets professionals in schools, employers, healthcare workers, and others who interact with individuals affected by acquired brain injuries. With around 70,000 individuals in Sweden acquiring brain injuries annually, stemming from various causes like stroke, tumors, and accidents, our aim is to ensure everyone has access to tailored care and rehabilitation.
This project is funded by the Allmänna arvsfonden and is presented by Hjärnskadeförbundet Hjärnkraft
