Hjelp Pus

Hjelp Pus Hadeland is an independent volunteer animal welfare organization based in Hadeland, Norway. Its mission is to make a difference for cats and other animals by providing help when they are in need and promoting preventive animal welfare. The organization believes animals should have shelter, warmth, food, water, affection and care, along with medical treatment and follow-up when necessary.

Its work includes rehoming cats and rodents, and it introduces cats seeking new homes to potential adopters. People can also support the animals by offering a temporary foster home for one or more cats. Hjelp Pus Hadeland aims to spread knowledge, encourage humane conduct and treatment of animals, and work with others to improve animal welfare.

The organization receives no public funding and relies on donations, foster homes and volunteer effort. Supporters can contribute financially or register their Norwegian Tippping charity allocation in the organization’s name. Hjelp Pus Hadeland also shares updates on Facebook, including through its Tett på Hjelp Pus Hadeland group
