Hjørungavåg Pistolklubb is a community shooting club founded in 1986 and based at Ulsetleitet in Hjørungavåg, Hareid municipality, Norway. It welcomes shooters of all experience levels, from beginners and recreational participants to those who train and compete seriously. The club provides regular Tuesday sessions open to members and guests, with range officers available to support newcomers. Visitors can borrow club pistols, hearing protection and safety glasses. Members with their own firearms can also attend Saturday training.
The club’s range has 10 covered firing positions, lighting for year-round outdoor practice and a heated shelter where members can take a break and socialise. Activities include precision and rapid-fire pistol, air pistol, revolver, military pistol and field shooting. Hjørungavåg Pistolklubb runs air-pistol and Norgesfelt cups, NAIS shooting activities and club competitions, and publishes results and event information. It also offers safety training required for membership and firearm ownership. The club prioritises safe practice, instruction and an inclusive atmosphere, and welcomes people interested in trying the sport or joining.
